The Ride for Freedom-Spirit of the Horse – Declaring the Horse a "National Treasure!"

On Monday, September 13th, 2004 Jennifer Hughes and the Pony Express along with twelve to fourteen Mounted Police, rode to the White House to meet President Bush to declare the HORSE a "National Treasure".

America reenacted the role the horse has played in our country on Pennsylvania Avenue as a reminder of what we as Americans owe the HORSE for building our country!

Americans of all ages say this election year "No more heinous horse slaughter of our American horses for European tables!"

Once the HORSE is declared a National Treasure, horse slaughter in America will immediately cease!
